Nutrition Data Needs Capacity Assessment 2023
Capacity building for strengthening the District Local Governments (DLGs) is aligned with the second Uganda Nutrition Action Plan (UNAP II) as one of the pivotal activities under the NIPN initiative. This report provides a detailed account of the background, objectives, scope, methodology, findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the capacity assessment conducted in the period sept-oct 2023.
The data capacity assessment conducted aimed at ascertaining knowledge gaps in managing nutrition data from specific DLGs, increasing awareness, and bridging the nutrition information gaps at the DLGs. The DLGs covered in this assessment include Nebbi, Kabong, Namutumba, Bugiri, Isingiro, Napak, Kabarole, Kasese, Bushenyi, Ntungamo, Rukiga, Abim, Kole, Moro, and Adjumani.
